Why you need this formula:
If you suffer from any pain condition, including conditions of chronic pain, neuropathy, migraines, fibromyalgia, PMS, endometriosis, IBS or you have a digestive disorder, insomnia or a sleep disorder, these soaks will be of tremendous benefit to you. Tase of these soaks in your home are in and of themselves, when used on a consistent basis and as directed, a treatment that is as effective as an in-person treatment.
Tibetan Herbal Foot Soak
These soaks are not a formula that you take internally by mouth, but are a rather wonderful way to use the body’s brilliant network of capillaries and veins in the lower part of the body through a transdermal (through the skin) delivery system. By soaking your feet and lower legs (just above the ankles) in these herbs, the body is able to distribute the clinical effects of each herb within the body.
The transdermal delivery of the combination of herbs found within the Tibetan foot soaks has been shown to increase blood circulation, bringing fresh blood to injured and impeded areas of the body. Fresh blood in turn brings oxygen and nutrients that enhance the healing process and detoxify metabolic wastes. In addition, regular use of the foot soaks has been shown to improve immune function, enhance metabolism and improve overall endocrine function. The herbs contained in the soaks are analgesic (pain-relieving), anti-fungal, antibacterial and antioxidant. In addition, by increasing circulation, the soaks reduce blood clots and increase blood oxygen levels. Also, by inhibiting biofilms in the gut, the soaks are able to regulate immune functions, enhance mood and regulate digestion.
The herbs contained in the Tibetan foot soaks are of the highest quality found. They are sourced directly from Tibet and have been individually tested for purity and efficacy. Individually, these herbs have been studied extensively and have shown to be highly effective in treating a variety of conditions.
Clinically, I have had great success using the Tibetan foot soaks as an adjunctive treatment with acupuncture or as a stand-alone treatment (for those adverse to needles or who will be unable to come into the office) for a wide variety of conditions, including menopausal hot flashes, PMS, irregular menstruation, infertility, neuropathy, chronic pain conditions (back, neck, shoulder, etc.), insomnia and digestive disorders.
Ideally, I like to see a patient do the soak at least 3 times per week for 30-40 minutes per soak session. Soaking should be done while the patient relaxes (no cell phone), performing full belly breathing the entire time. Our home care instruction sheet provides all the instructions as well as the cautions and considerations for use.
